Education and Experience:
· Extensive experience in historic preservation, construction, or facility maintenance roles
· Proficiency in carpentry, masonry, painting, and restoration work.
· Familiarity with specialized preservation tools and techniques, as well as safety protocols, is preferred.
Competencies:
Knowledge of:
· Strong knowledge of safety regulations and ability to lead safety programs.
· Carpentry, masonry, painting, and restoration work.
Ability to:
· Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
· Tactfully interface with a variety of stakeholders, visitors and vendors.
· Perform hands-on physical labor, including ladder use, equipment operation, and lifting heavy materials (often in excess of 50lbs) on a consistent basis
· Work outdoors in varied weather conditions
