The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Montana Chemical Dependency Center.
The Montana Chemical Dependency Center is the only in-patient chemical dependency treatment center administered by the state. We serve individuals 18 and older who have been diagnosed as having an addiction to drugs or alcohol or who suffer from both addiction and mental disorders. Responsibilities of the Treatment Technician include: 1) Communicates with patients to understand needs and assists with activities of daily living; 2) Records patient data such as behavioral observations, vital signs, symptoms, etc.; and 3) Gathers information for patient admissions and inputs into the system. This position is an on call role and does not have standard set hours.

- Meet minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Two years of job-related experience working with people in healthcare setting.
- Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Must have or willing to obtain prior to hire date a valid CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification card.
