Job Duties:
The Human Resource Generalist positions support management and employees in conducting their work to deliver programs by providing traditional human resource services. These services include recruiting, hiring and orientation, compensation, negotiating and administering labor contracts, training, promoting employee safety, conducting workforce analysis and data reporting, performance management, resolving complaints and grievances, and establishing and enforcing policies and practices in the workplace that contribute to employee and department welfare and reflect state and federal employment regulations.
The knowledge skills and abilities of this position are normally attained through a bachelor’s degree in human resources, personnel management, public administration, business, communication, or a closely related field and three years related job experience. Other combinations of experience and education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
