Job Duties:

Based on goals developed by biologists and fisheries managers, Tech 4 will conduct fisheries research and monitoring field work activities including, area gill net surveys, juvenile bull trout abundance estimates, bull trout red counts, angler creel surveys and substrate coring. The tech 4 will work on management projects including rainbow/hybrid trout suppression, Swan Lake lake trout suppression netting and Mack Days fish check ins. The tech 4 will also be responsible for gear maintenance, data entry and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):

The knowledge, skills, and abilities of this position are normally attained through combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in fish biology, fish and wildlife management, ecology, biology, and one year of job-related experience.  Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
