Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, sociology, or related fields.

  • Experience as support staff for boards, councils or other formal work groups.

  • Ability to plan meetings and events.

  • Experience with interdisciplinary, cross jurisdictional, rural, urban and tribal professionals in governmental and non-governmental agencies. 

  • Demonstrated experience in program development, grant management, and the impact of crime on individuals, families and communities.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience with responsive support of a council or board.
  • Experience with research of evidence based best practices, drafting policy and procedure, and writing legislative reports is required.   
  • Data collection, management and analysis skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse agencies. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  •   Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Sociology, or social services field.
