Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
- Expertise with healthcare or hospital administration, finance, or facility billing and proven abilities to build high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective systems of care.
- Expertise operating licensed and regulated facilities and operating delivery systems in the constraints of national, federal, and state accrediting, licensing, and regulatory bodies.
- Understanding of the policies, procedures, and funding mechanisms of the state and federal programs that govern healthcare organizations and/or behavioral health facilities.
- Experience with local, state, and/or federal regulations and statuses governing fiscal matters.
- Strong oversight and staff-management techniques, ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and ability to negotiate and persuasively express opinions.
- Meet minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program, business, public administration or a closely related field and from an appropriately accredited institution
- 5 years of progressively responsible professional management experience
- Progressively responsible experience with healthcare or hospital administration
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
