Boilermaker

Thorough knowledge of all types of work performed by a boilermaker including welding work, metal fabrication, repair and installation of finished or manufactured products. Must be skilled in the boilermaker profession, in the use of hand and power tools. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess a valid Montana Driver's License.

High school diploma or equivalent and a successful completion of an approved apprenticeship program is desired.  3-4 years of progressively responsible experience within the boilermaker trade is required.  Apprenticeship or college degree may be included in experience requirement.  Welding certification in pipe/plate or ability to obtain within 1 year. Montana State LI 3^rd class boiler license or ability to obtain within 1 year.

All applicants who meet minimum qualifications will be required to take a welding test provided by work force and proctored by Human Resources at the Montana State Prison prior to being considered for an interview.
