If you are the right person for this opportunity, you will have the following knowledge, skills or abilities:
Knowledge of (or ability to learn in a reasonable amount of time):
- The Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) and workforce programs and services
- Program evaluation and process improvement
- Workflow documentation and process mapping
- Data analysis, performance measurement, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau
Ability to:
- Analyze and interpret economic, workforce, and performance data.
- Explain data and technical concepts to audiences with varying degrees of technical proficiency.
- Design and deliver training on workforce performance metrics and program implementation.
- Stay informed of pertinent labor legislation and public workforce system rules, regulations and policies and interpret performance requirements.
- In consultation with program managers, draft comprehensive, consistent and appropriate training and guidance materials for workforce programs and confirm guidance with appropriate staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Your preparation for this opportunity could include a combination of relevant experiences including:
- A bachelor's degree in one of the following: Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, or other relevant fields.
- Three years’ experience in agency services or related field
OR
- Any combination of equivalent experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least five years’ experience in positions that demonstrate skill in data, analysis, workforce services, performance improvement, program evaluation, and/or program management.
