The Warehouse Procurement Supervisor works within the Financial Services Bureau in the Montana Department of Corrections’ Director’s Office. This office provides critical support to the department’s executive team through communications, financial services, legal services, and human resources. The Warehouse Procurement Supervisor is supervised by the Contract and Procurement Manager. The position oversees procurement staff, warehouse inventory, procurement processes, contract management, strategic and operational planning and reporting in compliance with the Montana Procurement Act for the Warehouse.  Duties include supervising up to four procurement specialists, performing functions such as hiring, performance management, employee relations, training, etc. This position also includes receiving, reviewing, and accepting in accordance with specifications and processing of all goods and services essential for the operations of the Montana State Prison.

Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 -  Any person who has been convicted of engaging in or attempting to engage in sexual activity in the community facilitated by force, overt or implied threats of force, or coercion, or if the victim did not consent or was unable to consent or refuse; or any person who has been civilly or administratively adjusted to have engaged in the activity as described are not qualified for this position.
