Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
- Strong knowledge of child welfare practices
- Ability to work effectively in emotionally charged environments
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop cooperative working relationships
- Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheets, word processing, database, email, internet and other computer programs
- Meet minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- One year experience working in professions related to providing services for children, recruitment, licensing, or retention of foster parents
- Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis; however, a bachelor’s degree is required

This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2025, and July 1, 2026.
