- Responsibilities include assessment and analysis of offender data, evaluation of the need for program participation, analysis and interpretation of test results and production of post-program reports. Candidates will assess offender programing needs on a continuous basis to evaluate offender progress and develop and revise case plans and goals.
- This position will complete assessments and group interventions. Candidates will motivate and deliver effective correctional programs conforming to stringent quality assurance standards that meet with the specific needs of the offenders.
- The position will liaise with other employees internal and external to the facility to ensure the exchange of relevant information about treatment plans
This position will work in a facility that houses adult offenders with felony convictions. Some of the population can be sex offenders, individuals with substance use disorders, or mental health needs.
Because of offender needs and program requirements, this position may be required to work non-traditional work shifts (other than Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required in criminal justice, sociology, social work, criminology psychology, education, social science, addiction counseling, therapy, or a related field.
- One year of experience working with sex offenders, individuals with substance use disorder, and/or mental health.
