Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
- Ability to provide a high level of service delivery by acting on what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to solve problems using judgement and maintain a professional attitude when dealing with emotional or controversial subjects.
- Knowledge of the structure and functions of state government and the Department of Public Health and Human Services.
- Ability to clearly present information both verbally and in writing and to listen, read, clarify, comprehend and interpret complex information on a wide variety of issues.
- Meet minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, business, or directly related degree
- Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Related experience including office administrative experience in a governmental environment working with highly sensitive and confidential information and situations.

Additional Information
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2025 and on July 1, 2026.
This position supports the Child and Family Services Division which includes the following cities: Helena, Kalispell, Missoula, Butte, Bozeman, Billings, and Miles City. The primary location for this position is open for consideration contingent on available workspace.
