Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience): The knowledge, skills, and abilities of this position are normally attained through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in park and or recreation management, archeology, geology or related fields and minimum of 1 year job-related experience. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Special Requirements:
- Acquire and maintain CPR, first aid.
- Complete training in the delivery of interpretive services either through the National Association of Interpretation Certified Interperetive Guide program or Epply Instiutute Fundamentals of Interpretation or alternate equivalent approved training program within 24 months of hire.

- Describe your work experience relating to outdoor recreation management and in interacting with the recreating public including; landowners, floaters, fishermen and outfitters.
- Describe your experience performing maintenance activities involving campsites, signs, toilets, non-motorized watercraft and Ranger Stations; and operating non-motorized watercraft including canoes and rafts on rivers (be river specific).
