The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Senior & Long Term Care Division.
The position supports diversion and transition efforts through the Money Follows the Person Demonstration Project. The position is responsible for research, data analysis, and interpretation of data related to diversion of Medicaid recipients from institutional settings as well as the transition of Medicaid recipients to the community post institutionalization.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
- Ability to develop and maintain data tracking spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of research design techniques, tools, and methods to conduct advanced data analysis, analytical and critical thinking.
- Time management, organization, and prioritization; coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and complete within established time frames.
- Ability to translate data and statistical information into a variety of reports and presentation materials which are accurate, concise, and understandable by the target audience.
- Meet minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Data analytics, applied mathematics, statistics or like field.
- Three years of relevant experience (i.e., data management and analysis, report design, and presentation).
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
