Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):
- Requires education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field and;
- Two (2) years of human resources or closely related experience.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Requires knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource administration. This includes knowledge of training and needs assessment methodologies; instructional methods and evaluation processes; recruitment and selection methods and techniques, knowledge state classification policies and procedures, occupations, analytical and writing ability, and interviewing and job analysis methods and techniques.
- This position requires skill in the operation of computers and business software applications; the operation of general office equipment.
- This position requires the ability to analyze information to make sound recommendations and decisions; develop and organize programs and procedures; and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences with different levels of understanding of the subject matter.
- Requires the ability to perform all duties in a safe manner, following DMA Safety Program and OSHA requirements. Requires a demonstrated ability to work and engage in diverse working environments.
