JOB OVERVIEW- The Records Department at the Montana State Prison provides fundamental technical information on the custody, treatment recommendations and release dates of offenders.

• Required to perform a variety of responsibilities and procedures to maintain the location and time to release/parole for every male offender, serving a prison term, under the custody of the Montana Department of Corrections. 
• A Correctional Case Records Analyst is the originator and disseminator of numerous levels of correctional data to multiple law enforcement, correctional, judicial and legal authorities, as well as other state agency and public inquiries.
