Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Broad knowledge of Home and Community Based Services.
Ability to communicate effectively and lead stakeholder groups as assigned.
Ability to travel statewide to conduct in person reviews and evaluations.
Knowledge of service delivery for individuals with severe and disabling mental illness.
Ability to proficiently utilize Microsoft Office Products to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to establish effective working relationships with providers, contracted case management entities, and other professional staff to include those working within Medicaid waiver programs, state plan, as well as non-Medicaid entities.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Health, Human Services, or a closely related field.
Two years of job-related work experience in community social or health related fields.
Other combinations of related education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Experience with Medicaid is preferred.
Current valid Driver’s License and clean driving record in accordance with State of Montana Vehicle Use Policy.

Hours sometimes exceed the normal eight-hour day
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026.
