KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITES:
If you are the right person for this opportunity, you will have the following knowledge, skills or abilities:
- Knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, and methods of the workers’ compensation system, project management, and Electronic Data Interchange.
- Excellent negotiation skills, consisting of ability to establish rapport, influence and persuade others, and careful listening.
- Ability to lead projects independently to successful completion, delivery of timely results, handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Considerable ability to interpret and communicate legal statutes, rules, regulations, and court decisions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Your preparation for this opportunity could include a combination of relevant experiences including:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, mathematics statistics, information technology or a related field and two years of directly related experience in project management, research, statistical analysis, or related activities.
OR
- Any combination of equivalent experience and education to successfully perform the essential functions of the position will be considered.
Preferred:
- Two years’ experience in workers’ compensation or related capacity.
- Two years management/supervisory experience.
- Electronic Data Exchange experience.
