JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Technician performs accounting work specific to the management of prerelease center resident funds, including account management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This position is located in a correctional facility and will have daily contact with adult offenders serving on felony convictions.
QUALIFICATIONS
The knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:
2 years job-related college or vocational training in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
3 to 4 years of job-related work experience.
Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
